Provided the calligraphy artwork for the new menus. Japanese calligraphy, Shodo, really helps create an authentic feel when enjoying a Japanese meal and sake.

Queensland Academy of Sport

We were honored to work Australian beach volleyball gold medalist Natalie Cook and her team holding a team building event. With the Tokyo Olympics games underway, Natalie brought her colleagues together to build a large canvas origami artwork piece.

Japanese language teachers from the all over Queensland came together to enjoy Shodo, Japanese calligraphy, and origami in fun interactive workshops.

Story House Early Learning

Teaching Japanese to energetic 3-5 year old children in fun interactive weekly classes. Each class, everyone also participates in creating their own origami piece.

Team Building

Brisbane based State Primary School

As part of a team building activity, teachers and teacher aids made orizuru (yes, our business name!), paper cranes, which were placed on branches within a vase and put on display in the foyer of the main entrance.

 

Workshop

Aveo Group

Not only is origami fun, it also helps improve hand control, motor coordination skills, helps build muscles and stimulates the brain. Residents of Aveo participate in origami workshops creating a variety of different art pieces.

 

Christmas Ornament Decoration- ORIGAMI

W Hotel Brisbane 

Using traditional Japanese origami, we created twelve large Christmas trees to decorate the hotel lobby. Each tree was handmade with great care and attention to detail. Some of the trees are as tall as three meters, creating a truly impressive display. Both the hotel staff and our guests have been delighted with the results.

 

Launch Event

Kita Skin

For the product launch event, we created table place card holders using traditional Japanese Washi paper origami. Additionally, we converted the participants' names into kanji and beautifully wrote them using traditional Japanese calligraphy. To celebrate the fact that their product is made in Japan, we also held a workshop where attendees could create lovely cards with origami. The participants were very pleased and enjoyed the event immensely.

 

Anglican church grammar school

We held a Japanese calligraphy workshop. Although it was the first time for many of the students they eagerly learned the proper way to hold the brush and maintain the correct posture, practicing with great enthusiasm. Additionally, since the workshop was close to the Japanese holiday "Children's Day," we also created origami  samurai helmets (kabuto), resulting in some beautiful pieces. The participants were very satisfied with the experience.

 

Origami Event

Kinetic IT 

We held an origami event at the company's year-end party. Many beautiful pieces were created, and we demonstrated various folding techniques. The finished pieces were given as souvenirs and were very well received.

Kids Club

We teach Japanese in a fun and engaging way, from simple greetings to everyday conversations. Our themed origami activities are also very popular, and the children enjoy learning Japanese through these activities!

We teach in a fun way that engages children at their level. By incorporating traditional Japanese origami into our activities, we also help develop their fine motor skills. The teachers participate as well, learning Japanese alongside the students!

Eden Academy

During our OPEN DAY event, we demonstrated Japanese origami with the children and created various pieces together. Everyone skillfully completed their creations and joyfully took them home.

We create wonderful origami pieces every week, but what's even more rewarding is the friendships and personal growth that come from gathering together. Working together improves manual dexterity and memory, among other benefits. Our participants eagerly anticipate what we'll create next each week.
